Kitty is now packless and homeless and moving from city to city airing her show where ever she is. While traveling she gets subpoenaed to testify at a Senate hearing on supernatural beings and has to head to Washington, DC.
Lots of old favorites turn up in this second book, but there are also new and interesting faces. More than one problem is cleared up before the end, but new concerns manage to take their place. I'm really looking forward to the next in this series.

CAUGHT IN FALLS CHURCH VA USA

Journal Entry 4 by wingAnonymousFinderwing on Sunday, April 13, 2008
I was tenderly wrapped and then launched into the mail system. I survived the journey and was immediately unwrapped. Then I landed on a stack of books and about cried. I felt abandoned and discard. I had no idea how long I had to wait before being devoured.

The other books were resting and completely ignored me. No matter how I asked or pleaded, I could not determine how the books were organized for reading. I feared I would be here forever. They must have succumbed to a long and lonely stasis of waiting.

Just when I closed my eyes to join them, I was snatched up. It was like a whirlwind. I was flipped through. I was flipped over and over. I was opened in the middle and cringed. He started reading a chapter completely out of order. Then, I was snapped closed. I was set on top of the stack of books, for the second time. I must have completely disappointed him.

He slept. I waited. He tossed and turned. I hoped. His alarm rang. He grabbed me. YES! He started from the beginning. It was a rush. He blitzed through three chapters. Then placed me back on the stack. He exhausted me in those ... only twenty minutes! I lay in completely contentedness, that is, until the books under me started ranting.

I was called all sorts of names. I tried to appeal to them, but they would not listen. They said it always happened like this. He would be spending time with each one of them during the week. They said they helped him grow, mature and developed different aspects of his life. Then, all of a sudden, a new book would arrive.

Every single one of them offered him NOTHING that would help him grow. They were pleasure books, horrible and disgusting wastes of time. He would COMPLETELY abandon them until he read the new book. Then, when he was done with the new book, it was shipped off.

These other books were a constant in his life. Yeah, they would end up on the shelf, from time to time, but they were read and reread. When he was done reading them, they would be sent to someone else to help.

I was completely relieved. I thanked them for the stories and rested. It sounded like I better rest up, for I was going to need it. I knew what my purpose was and pleasing him was all I cared about.

My desire is to travel. To love each person that finds me. If, by chance, someone wishes to keep me, may I be a pleasure to hold every chance I get.

Just got this book from a ebayer in California. I had bought two lots and this is the second book in the series. The first book was so good that I was glad that I accidentally won the lot this one was in. I ended up with 10 books which had 3 duplicates. I will have to figure out if the 3 duplicates are in order and throw them up on eBay.
