You can't go wrong with Maya Angelou's words. If you read this one, you should read "A Song Flung up to Heaven" as well.

I found the book in the Cedar Rapids post office. I had just purchased some stamps and was looking for a spot to apply them to some outgoing mail. On the side of the weight scale was the book, with a "Free" sticker on it. I picked it up to check the title and decided to keep it. I was finishing up another book and have only just started it. I will release it when I'm done.
I enjoyed the book. I've been wanting to read if for years and was excited when I found it. I don't believe we understand each other: black, brown or white, male & female, because we don't know what experiences we've lived. These type of books help in understanding who we are and why. Everyone is different, but if we can recognize that, and still see them as people, just like you and I, we can learn to live together better.
