First in the "Nina Reilly" series. From the back cover: "Misty Patterson only remembered the fight, the polar bear statue she used as a bludgeon, a trail of blood, and the comatose sleep that followed. When she awoke, her husband and the statue were missing. Only the blood was left. She had come to attorney Nina Reilly's office seeking a divorce. But when Anthony Patterson was found on the bottom of the frigid lake, Misty needed a miracle."
A well-told story that nicely balanced the personal life of Nina Reilly with the workings of the legal system, all without sounding like a college lecture. I look forward to reading more in the Nina Reilly series.
