Péplum

I'm too lazy to bother trying to comment in French... but this was an interesting little book and surprisingly easy to read, even though my French has become more than a bit rusty. The book consists almost completely of dialogue, which might have been the reason for the ease of reading (short sentences, fairly simple vocabulary).
The idea is very original - the author is whisked from the year 1995 to the year 2580 because, by accident, she guesses one of the biggest secrets of the future and must be prevented from spreading the word. In the future, she meets the mysterious Celsius, and the two are engaged in lengthy conversations and arguments about what exactly has happened in the past 500 years. An entertaining and thought-provoking little book.
