Timeless. I read this book for the first time when I was in the FOURTH grade. From that time on, it has been one of my favorite books of all time. In joining a book_swapping community I realize that this is true for many, many people. This is one of the most requested books of the community. The movie was released this year and I'm sure that it has helped increase the popularity. The movie focused on the fantasy of the book, which truthfully, I don't remember. Instead, I remember it as a book about friendship and growing up, much too young. It's a beautiful book. I hope that it is still required reading for young adults, because it is timeless.
