Flat Logan made it to Seoul just in time for Halloween. He decided to go as a ghost, which we agreed was a great choice. This weekend we will take him shopping and out to dinner and then we will find a few neat things in the city. Thank you for letting Logan visit!

Journal Entry 3 by kiwiinengland from Dunedin, Otago New Zealand on Monday, November 26, 2007
Flat Logan has arrived in Ireland and is looking forward to visiting a number of countries in Europe (but I won't spoil the surprise by telling you where!)

Journal Entry 4 by kiwiinengland from Dunedin, Otago New Zealand on Monday, December 3, 2007
Prague, Czeck Republic

Flat Logan had a weekend in Prague, where he saw the christmas lights being switched on. At the Christmas markets you could buy huge gingerbread biscuits which children were hanging around their necks. Mulled wine was available for the adults.

Flat Logan did a lot of walking, and saw the Castle, an amazing clock (see picture), and a church where people hid during World War II.

Journal Entry 5 by kiwiinengland from Dunedin, Otago New Zealand on Saturday, December 15, 2007
Dublin, Ireland

Flat Logan spent ten days in the capital of Ireland. He walked through a lot of the green parks in the middle of town, and listened to Irish music played by buskers on the main shopping street. Flat Logan also went to Trinity College saw a book written in 800AD. That is over 1200 years ago!! It was called the Book of Kells.

Journal Entry 6 by kiwiinengland from Dunedin, Otago New Zealand on Saturday, December 15, 2007
Manchester, England

Flat Logan had a weekend in Manchester. He walked past lots of buildings that were built when Manchester made cotton. There are lots of brick buildings and the library is round! It is the white building in the picture.

Flat Logan saw the Manchester Christmas Market and all the lights outside the town hall. As a treat he went on the Manchester Wheel, which is a big ferris wheel, so he could see all the buildings in town.

London, England

Flat Logan had a weekend in London, where he visited the Natural History Museum. The building is amazing, with lots of different coloured bricks and lions along the roof. Inside is a HUGE skeleton of a dinosaur. See the picture. Flat Logan wandered through two of the exhibitions, one was on dinosaurs and had lots of skeletons and life size robots and was brilliant for eight and nine year old boys (even flat ones).

Flat Logan travelled on the London underground and a double decker bus to do some Christmas shopping.

Flat Logan was tucked into an envelope and sent to Glasgow this morning.

Journal Entry 9 by Glasgow2005 from Glasgow, Scotland United Kingdom on Sunday, January 13, 2008
Flat Logan has been having a very busy time and I must apologise for not letting you know his whereabouts but he ended up having an extended stay in the West Coast shipbuilding town of Greenock over Christmas and New Year . He had Christmas dinner with my family . He particlarly enjoyed meeting two of the younger members of the family who got lots of exciting toys from Santa Claus. He thought the jokes in the Christmas crackers were very funny.
In a flurry of packing and presents he had rather longer in Greenock than intended !!! :-S He assures me he had a very nice time and took a nice walk to the top of the Lyle Hill to see the Free French Memorial looking over the famous River Clyde. He made it back to Glasgow this weekend and enjoyed the visiting The Joan Eardley Art Exhibition with me in Scotland's Capital city Edinburgh as well as a super Kylie Minogue costume exhibition in the Kelvingrove Art Galleries . He has bought some Postcards and will send them off this week . The next person on his travels will be PMed today and hopefully he will zoom off to his next destination by the end of the week. Thank you for you patience .

Journal Entry 13 by crrcookie from Tecumseh, Oklahoma USA on Monday, March 3, 2008
Flat Logan has arrived in Waldorf, Maryland (near Washington D.C). I look forward to reading the journal to see what a great time Flat Logan has been having and I will be adding several pages to the journal for the full size Logan and his classmates to enjoy.

I'll be adding in some page protectors so that the journal stays nice and neat in the many travels that Flat Logan still has ahead of him. I have decided to really work on the travel journal so that Flat Logan won't have to lug around all of the treasures that he has accumulated. I was also concerned that one mistake could sidetrack Flat Logan and I would hate that the whole class would never get to see the postcards, coins and other treasures that have been accumulated in the original journal. So the original is headed home to the real Logan in Ohio.

I have color copied all of the original pages that Flat Logan has gotten during his travels from October 2007 to present and I have placed the color copies in sheet protectors in a folder so that they stay all together and in order. This allows all future hosts of Flat Logan to see the journal entries while keeping the originals safe. I have also printed out the journal entries from here at BookCrossing to add in to the journal in the appropriate places.

I'll be sending a message to the next in line for an address and I hope to get Flat Logan moving again very soon. I'll be adding in my contributions (and copying my pages) and I hope the the class enjoys seeing all of Logan's travels and that Logan will have happy travels in the future.

Southernfryed has asked to be skipped for now. Maybe someone later on down the line will be able to contact him/her and the timing will be better. I'll contact the next on the list so that Logan can travel early next week.

YIKES! Flat Logan has been here for nearly a month. He is safe and sound but we have been busy. I finally got to sit down at the computer and I have constructed 8 pages of information to add to the journal. I printed two copies of each page from my computer so that the 3D Logan can get a complete copy of the journal to date. Flat Logan will be travelling in style in a Priority Mail Envelope for this leg of the journey to aylaeh in Georgia.

The original travel journal to date has been sent on to Logan's class with the following USPS tracking number: Label/Receipt Number: 03073330000034900788

It shows the following information:
Status: Delivered

Your item was delivered at 12:52 PM on April 4, 2008 in TALLMADGE, OH 44278.

I certainly hope that the class enjoys sharing Logan's travels and that the real Logan gets a thrill with all of the neat stuff that has been included.

Flat Logan and the copy of the travel journal have also moved on with the following USPS tracking number: Label/Receipt Number: 03073330000034900771
Status: Delivered

Your item was delivered at 9:25 AM on April 4, 2008 in ACWORTH, GA 30102.

I look forward to the new journal entry from aylaeh to let us know that Flat Logan did in fact arrive safely and I can't wait to hear what Logan gets to do next.
