From the bookflap: "A set of bewitching medieval tapestries hangs today in a protected chamber in Paris. They appear to portray a woman's seduction of a unicorn, but the story behind their making is unknown—until now."

Bought from the bargain table at my local Barnes & Noble because I read and enjoyed Girl with A Pearl Earring by the same author.

I enjoyed this story that was told from different characters' points of view, almost as if they were each a different color thread being woven into the tapestry of the story and the story of the tapestry.

Tracy Chevalier created a lush and vivid world for her characters. I feel like I learned a lot about tapestry making and the time period without ever feeling "taught." The information was woven into the story in such a way that I just absorbed it. I thought it was well done.

It doesn't cost anything to join; it’s confidential (you are known only by your screen name and no one is ever given your e-mail address), free, and spam-free.
