Across a huge and colourful canvas, ranging from the wilds of Scotland to Norway, Denmark and Rome, here is the story of the real MacBeth.

Set aside Shakespeare's portrait of a savage, murderous, ambitious king. Read instead of his struggle to make and save a united Scotland. Of his devotion to his great love, the young Queen Gruoch. Of the humane laws they fought for, the great battle they were forced to fight. And the price they paid.

well, the problem is that I'm quite busy with work since the beginning of the year, and it won't change till may or even june. When I come home somewhen between 20:00 and 22:00 I'm obviously not in the mood to fight myself through a Tranter (as I've seen with "Kenneth") but prefer some light entertainment.
Thanks for sharing anyway, DA-Cameron, I will definitely keep this series in mind!

I've already PMt rotewoelfin.

I'm so sorry - but I have the same problem as Schneefee - can't concentrate on this book, and I assume it would take me half a year to finish it... So I'm going to sent it to the next station - hope it will find a more motivated reader!
