Having read my first Dan Brown book as a mate gave it to me travelling in Thailand, I've read three of them, and I don't usually read fiction books....Superb.
I picked this book up at the lovely K`s Backpacker House in Mount Fuji. Since I`ve arrived in Japan, I`ve read four books and have released them all here by Bookcrossing. I unknowingly picked up another Bookcrosser`s book in K`s House. It must be fate! I read at a freakish rate and I was getting desperate for something new so I turned to the bookshelf. Plus, I think I remember the guy who released this book because we watched the horrid 9-11 film in the same room as him (I`m assuming, because he had a Scottish accent and has the name of Wandering Scot). I will probably be through this book in a few days and will release it somewhere else in Japan. Cheers!

RELEASE NOTES:
I am releasing the book to my boyfriend to read next. We are currently in Kyoto. He reads a bit slower than me so the book may get released back in Canada.
Dan Brown...the craze that is sweeping the world. His books take very old and well-known ideas, over-simplify them and turn them into over-produced commercialized fodder. And yet, the fact that he was the only one to make them accesible to masses of people by making the ideas so simplistic is unique. Also, although I do not appreciate the language he uses and the way he hits his readers over the head with main points, his books are highly readable. Therefore, a swift read with good ideas if you can overlook the fact that he is not a great writer.

I highly enjoyed reading this captivating and fascinating story of a modern day hero. Not one of the most intelligently written books; still I couldn't get enough of it.
