After "semi-wild" releasing 3 books at yesterday's meetup and doing a genuine wild release today at a cafe, I literally stumbled upon this handsome edition (Modern Library, 1955) of a classic I knew nothing about. I started reading it on the subway home, and googled Boccaccio when I got here. These 100 stories influenced Shakespeare, Moliere, and many others. Thank you, book genie!

Wow! What a great "old" book. Although, I'd better be careful how I throw "old" around as book is only a little older than me. ;-) Thanks so much for sharing this classic. Just holding the book brings back memories of picking up and looking at the pages of the classic, hardbound books that use to grace my grandmother's bookshelves. I really look forward to reading the stories between this book's covers. It will be a reading adventure that should prove to be interesting with a nostalgic feel.
