I was surprised to enjoy this. I had resisted continuing the saga after being somewhat unsure at the ending of Ender's Game but succumbed finally and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know where the story could possibly go after Ender's Game but liked it direction and novelty and while I'm still not quite one for the happy ending, I think this sat better with me than its predecessor. I'm probably not going to rush out to get the next one but I did like this... I am going to send it on as a RABCK to someone who may or may not enjoy it but does at least enjoy the genre :)

Was waiting for me when I returned from holiday. I was a bit perplexed as I wasn't expecting it. Now I've read your entry, I have to say "thanks very much". It was a nice surprise.

An enjoyable read but hard to define why. At times, it felt a bit like The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell, which I would strongly recommend.

As with Wubbaducky, I don't think I'll be continuing with the series.
