Boston is one of my favorite cities... therefore I had to try to grab this book

Boston: set in December in a cold winter week Dorothy and her partner have to investigate the shooting which lead to an athlete's death. At first sight everything seems to be pretty sure, but the autopsy reveals interesting facts about the basketball-star. The plot is nicely developed and told in an exciting way, however I didn't like the discussion about the CPR that was performed after the shooting. All state-of-the defibrillators should save the parameters they measured to provide proof what has happened on site in case of questions. Fortunately this topic didn't evolve any more, and the question got irrelevant but I didn't like this detail.

Santa Fe: It was news to me that there is snow in winter in Santa Fe, but it seems, it is possible. This story was also nicely told and kept the attention until the end. There were several suspects but the murderer does not come to the surface until 20 pages prior to the end, which was rather nice.

Both books are worth reading!
