Excellent historical fiction book examining how the Cathars were wiped out along with a lot of other residents in the Pays d'Oc. It's a grail story of sorts along the lines of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, but personally I think the writing is much better. Strong female character, which I don't think you see that often in a mystery novel. Hope you enjoy/enjoyed it too.
