Picked this up in Maison maci the day it was released and spookily the lady before I was due to fly to New York!! Read by my husband on the flight- he enjoyed it and the spookiness of the timing was amazing!!
Intended to release it as suggested by, eldest daughter, at the top of the Empire state building, but thought it would be chucked or defused as unattended baggage!
Released into the wild in the lobby of the Beekman tower suite hotel 30/5/07 as we left (hotel recommended+++!).Wonder where it will travel next...

RELEASE NOTES:
I had not come across the concept of Book crossings before so was intrigued when I found this book in the lobby of the hotel I was checking out from (BEEKMAN TOWER). It had come all the way from Birmingham, UK and now was on its way back - this time to Ripon in North Yorkshire. Obviously purchased due to the NEW YORK connection before a trip. Interesting as many of the places in the book were familiar but I found the first two of the trilogy stories in particular were quite wierd, although well written.
It will go with a colleague to Jamaica this week and be left at a hotel there

Found in the Servisair Lounge at Gatwick South Terminal, in the ladies' room, on Wed June 27. I think this is my first real wild catch! My husband is reading the book now and is enjoying it.
My husband got about 2/3 of the way through, and says he is done with this book. He liked it at first, but then I guess it got old. :) I am sending it out as a RABCK.
