From the back cover: "Early morning, Virginia, and a woman is on the run. Her husband, a former U.S. Senator, has been missing for days. Kidnapped? Murdered? She doesn't know, but she thinks she knows who's involved, and why. And that she's next."

I always enjoyed reading John Sandford's "Prey" series, but needing a break from Lucas Davenport, I was very glad to read about a new hero (Jake Winter) and a new locale (Washington, D.C.). A nice, fast, enjoyable read. I look forward to seeing Mr. Winter again.

Passing on to my sister to read. I may get it back in a few weeks to wild release, or I may encourage her to do so!

RELEASE NOTES:

My sister left this on one of the pay phones in the lobby.

Congratulations--you caught a book!
It may have seemed odd to find this lying around, but rest assured it's not lost and it's not forgotten. Feel free to read it, pass it on to a friend, or release it in the wild like I did. You can even keep it, if you like, but are books really happy when they're just sitting on a shelf? I'd have to say no.
