Every novel that Elizabeth Berg writes have such emotional depth and the gentle intensity of poetry with the rich satisfactions of finely wrought fiction. Lovely, read ! Joy to the finder.

I fell in love with the poignancy and poetry -- and this was just the Prologue. Even her acknowledgements are well written. A lovely, warm, sad, glad celebration in an important part in the life of a sensitive and resilient woman. A good read.

A friend picked this up to take with her to Paso Robles, CA
This was a beautifully written story of a strong woman who has lived with loneliness her entire life. This book has warmth, humor, compassion and of course, sadness. A truly heart warming story.
