Now a major motion picture. Realy enjoyed this novel - it was a bit of a challenge getting into at the beginning, but I really got pulled into the story and the characters.

I got this book when on vacation a year ago at a Little Free Library in Delray Beach, Florida. I picked up The Namesake on the recommendation of my step-mother, and also that it had been turned in to a movie so eligible for the book club I belong to (Movie Book Club).

I completed reading the book on 18 March 2023 and gave it a 4 out of 5 star review at The StoryGraph if you want to read my entire thoughts.

I will be privately passing the book along to a friend from Chile (yes, the country) who mentioned wanting to read it.

My friend Laura is visiting the USA from her native, and home, Chile. She mentioned wanting to read the book, so I stuck it in USPS Priority Mail to get to her before her flight back to Chile. She should have it in her hands by Saturday latest, today being Wednesday but I missed the drop-off deadline.

I hope she will also log her capture and her thoughts on the book.

The book is in such a good condition, and I'm happy to have it with me.
First I watched the movie, and then I read the book 14 years before.
