A second copy - I read this novel last year - and over all really enjoyed it - however I had expected to like it more than I did - I have to say it is a book that has stayed with me. There is cartainly much to discuss in it - as I found during some online discussions with another bcer who read it at the same time as I did.

White Teeth its not - but it is very good.

An okay read but I didn't enjoy this as much as White Teeth - I don't think I really engaged with the characters as much.
