Talk about telegraphing a punch! About a quarter of the way through this book, I could see how the romance angle was going to play out...
*Girl engaged to Boy
*Girl meets Dashing Photographer--instant chemistry!
*Girl feels uneasy about upcoming marriage--but wait! She now realizes she's been feeling uneasy for months!
*Mystery concerning Girl involves her with DP
*Boy and Girl's Li'l Sis left behind while Girl & DP attempt to solve mystery
*Boy & LS spend time together
*LS secretly thinks Boy is HOT! Surprise--they have more in common than Girl & Boy
*Girl breaks up with Boy
*Girl + DP = True Love
*Boy + LS = implied couplehood
Main characters were one dimensional Mary Sues. The few sex scenes between the lovers were bland, suitable for jr. high readers, and plot development was heavy-handed. I won't be reading any more of her books.
I'm passing this on to a friend.
