my cousin gave me this book a few years ago telling me she doesn't read and asked me if I wanted it. I gladly agreed and as I read page after page about an outcast who was hated, loved, then hated again, I laughed, and I can admit proudly I cried also. I love this book and I am now willing to send it out for someone else to love and adore it like i have. My only hope is that it ends up with people who are willing to send it out again for someone new to read and then do the same. Stargirl was my first favorite book, forever a part of my childhood. Forever interlocked into my memories.
