Got this in the mail today! Thank you for the RABCK! I am looking forward to reading this series.

I am happy to finally be getting far enough along in the series to read this book. Jonathan Kellerman is a copious writer! There are now 22 books in the series, and this is only number 4! It will take several more years for me to get caught up with the author. One interesting thing about reading the series now is that the first 4 books were published between 1985 and 1989, and there are obvious things that stand out such as the characters using pay phones. It will be interesting to see how technology gets integrated into later books.

This was a good book, but it was just too long. It was really a saga, and covered way too much ground for a book in this genre. It was 484 packed pages, and too many times I just felt like it was a test of endurance to finish it. I am glad to have read it though, and am looking forward to continuing the series.
