This is an earlier edition with different cover art I found at a fundraising book sale.

This is a critically acclaimed, popular young-adult fantasy based on medieval Welsh literature and myth, followed by an equally acclaimed series of companion books. By all rights, I should love these books, but I've started reading this book several times (starting when I was about 12) and never got very far before putting it down. That's exceptionally unusual for me, so I'm giving up--at least for now.

I hope the next reader of this book loves it as much as most people who've read it seem to!

RELEASE NOTES:

Released on campus for the fair, probably somewhere in the shade, since I figured that was the best way to catch people's attention. It was hot out there!

Placed in a Ziploc bag with some cleansing swabs and this note:

"Lucky you!

You’ve caught a BookCrossing book, and you can take it home with you!

Bookcrossing is a way to share books with the whole world, and it’s completely free. You can release books into the wild, like this one, for anybody to find, or you can share them with friends, family, and other bookcrossers from across the globe. The BookCrossing.com website helps you follow books on their journeys, and you can remain anonymous if you like.

I’ve carefully cleaned this book, but the plastic bag is here to help keep your book clean and dry, and the alcohol swabs are there just in case you’re worried about germs.

This book was released in honor of the 2007 Los Angeles Times/UCLA Book Festival. I hope you’ll enjoy it."

If you've found this book, please leave a journal entry letting me know where you found it and what you think of it. If this is your first time at BookCrossing, welcome to the best book club in the world! I hope maybe you'll join us, but thank you, in any case, for checking in.

Found the book and a reading fair. I thought it was ok, could have expanded more or develped more on Tarren. Liked the connections though of how they all got together
