A very enjoyable book, although one you have to concentrate on, as it is a multi-layered narrative. Worth the effort though. A superb writer.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get into this one :o( I normally give myself until page 50, but I couldn't even make it to that. I couldn't really get what 'The Blind Assassin' was? Was it a book written by Laura - or was it Laura's life?? confused me anyway LOL

I have struggled to read this book. Kept returning to it but eventually am defeated. I don't seem to have the capacity to perservere with it currently and found it complex amd confusing. Perhaps I will try again one day when I have more time and brain capacity to give to reading.

Travelling to the UK Unconvention in Colchester. Then where?
I eye this book up with a view to buying it every time I walk into a book shop, so I delighted to see it at the Unconvention in Slack Space.
I generally find Atwood to be a highly accomplished writer but I have read one or two of her books and not enjoyed them at all. I'm looking forward to reading this one.
