This book arrived just now together with "Every Living Thing". Will read as soon as possible.

Finished the fourth book as well.
As lovely as the first three though I must admit I didn't particularly like his adventures abroad. To me his semi-fictitious memories are much more appealing. And I guess the pre-war time is more interesting.

Heute kamen die übrigen beiden Bänder der James-Herriot-Reihe.

Nachdem ich die 5 Bände endlich durchgelesen habe, reisen sie weiter zu kauke.

Ich habe es sehr genossen, diese Bücher zu lesen und freue mich, dass die Serie gerade im Fernsehen
(Sonntag, 16:50 Uhr, WDR3) wiederholt wird.

Nun hab´ich endlich alle 5 gelesen.
Und: es hat viel Spass gemacht, von einem Schmunzeln zum nächsten, mit Sorgenfalten, und interessant auch noch - wie aus einem anderen Jahrhundert :-)
