Santiago: A Myth of the Far Future
2 journalers for this copy...
Read it along time ago and it has lived on my shelf since so it must have been pretty good. All I seem to recall was that it was a far future pirate type story. Seems to me that someone went looking for Santiago and found him and became him. But I could be remembering some other book.
I'm adding this to my Breast Cancer Radiation Treatment release books collection. I plan to release one each day of treatment as a really noticeable way of counting down. They're all in a box in the back of my car. Every day the box will become more and more empty until I get to release the last book and my life can start going back to normal! Or to what passes for normal in my life. ;-) I'm a textbook example of why early detection works; the tumor was small and had not spread at all. And by the time treatment is finished the odds that it would come back will be pretty long. Remember to do your self-exams and don't put off your mammograms!
