thanks, it was pretty good, maybe not as good as bridge of birds, BUT that was the first master li novel and well finding such a character and not knowing how he was going to act was great. in this one you know master li and number ten ox, and you are ready for them and their world. though it's still a beautiful fantasy/mysteery/hughart book. thanks so much beltempest, will check with hero and if she doesn't want it, this will be a ring, people should read this!
