Yupi! Thanks so much for this trade. I love the little business card inside.
I wasn't able to finish this novel. This is the sort of trite, female-driven pulp that become bestsellers. As I was reading the story, I could not help think that this all sounded like the screenplay for a bad tv-movie. And just the other day, sure enough, there is the tv-movie version coming up. The comic book pages felt really contrived. The story line covered a million different topics, all very badly. This was a story written for its shock value, with dollar signs in the author's eyes.
For dramatic, grandiose, cataclismic novels of this kind, Sue Miller does the best job of them all. Ms. Picoult, along with Elizabeth Berg, Anita Shrieve, Alice Hoffman and company, writes glorified crap.
