I picked this book up through PaperBackSwap.com and have to admit that I didn't enjoy it much. It had been highly recommended to me, but the story just didn't catch my attention.

This book hasn't aged well. From a disabled man trying to hide his disability to the homophobic slur in the early pages to the constant going on about killing an unborn baby... Just ugh. I didn't get terribly far before there was something that was either homophobic or racist and I was just done. It's okay to leave some things in the past. It really is.
