Picked up at the Wellington convention and added to Mount TBR. I hope I will approach this with a fresh attitude - I've heard of this and his other work, but neither read any of his books nor seen any of the movies of the books (remakes or originals).
Yep - I can see how this would translate very well onto the screen. An enjoyable read, a marvellous premise, and only dated a little bit.
