Thank you so much for sending me a book from my wishlist. It arrived today.
On it's way to Bookworm-lady as an rabck
Thank you, Queenfrog, this seems like a good reading during my looong trip to Buenos Aires...
Looking forward to reading it!

Currrently reading it!
This is a very enjoyable book of short stories, I shall be looking for more books by this writer (see pic).
It's hard to choose my favourite: I found "The Double Poet" quite terrifying. Is it a descent into madness?
"Fat People" is great, and rings a note with all of us who have ever followed a diet...
"Ilse's House" sets the pace, being the first story in the book, and it is quite disturbing too.
People's relationships are the main subject of these great stories; sometimes no ghost is present (as in "Waiting for the Baby").
As I said, I really liked it and read it in record time.
Thanks for sharing, Queenfrog; it will be a RABCK surprise for someone who, just like me, enjoys this type of short stories.

Thank you Bookworm-lady for this surprise RABCK! It does sound like something I would pick to read. I really appreciate your kindness! I am also impressed that this book has already traveled from the U.K. to Canada to Spain and now to the U.S. :)
I read parts of this one, but just wasn't that crazy about it. It sounded like something I would enjoy and I do appreciate the thought!

Arrived today. Thank you so much, ladybug! Lurie is one of my favorite authors and has been since the 80's. And just saw the bookcrossing postcard in this book -- love the labels too!
