Really enjoyed this; real, empathetic and elegantly told. You yearn for Smithson to come through and find your faith in humanity largely restored. My favourite parts are the tales of the ethereal and emnigmatic Bethany. Not sure what my plans are for it yet but hope if ever a book was meant to travel...this is it!

I'm afraid I gave up on this. I just couldn't get into it. I think it may have been the American terminology that put me off... I'm not sure really. Either way, I'm afraid it wasn't doing it for me so I put it down.
