We first bought this book in a secondhand bookstore in Surbiton, June 2005, attracted by the name of the writer. It has sat on MrFan's Mt Tbr ever since. At some stage it switched into his large collection of books he's read and enjoyed.

Now I have managed to winkle out a few from him. MrFan guards his books like the precious treasures they are and doesn't really participate in the freedom and delight of releasing his books. It is described as "The powerful story of a passion that breaks all the rules" and will accompany me to the 4th NZ BookCrossing Convention although I might just have time to read it first.

We've got a cottage that we rent out (www.hairyhobbitcottage.co.nz) and we have a few books that guests can read or exchange. After one of our guest left (an english chap), it had joined our library. I plan to read it and put it back so another traveller can continue its journey.
