DEATH DROP

Bought second-hand for the OBCZ. It was a library book and has obviously been well-read as some of the pages are a bit loose. I'll try to fix it a bit before releasing.

I quite enjoyed this story. The plot is gripping and keeps you turning pages to find out more. My only two criticisms are the way the POV shifts from character to character, often in the middle of a paragraph, so sometimes it's hard to know whose perspective you're reading; and also the romance element, which I thought was cliched and unrealistic. All in all, though, I thought it was a good, quick read.
The story follows John Fleming, whose 12-year old son David died mysteriously on a school outing, as he tries to prove that the death was not an accident.

A new perspective on the 'detective' story: the father of the murder victim becomes the sleuth.
