Refilling the shelf.
Refilling the shelf.
This book isn't for me. I picked it up from the Dolphin Cafe shelves to pass on to my elder daughter who occasionally BookCrosses as Kharli.
I love Joanne Harris novels and count this as one of my favourites. I think it's pretty essential reading for all teachers so had recommended it to my teacher daughter! In fact, I've lent her my copy but I know she hasn't started it yet, so now I'll reclaim mine for my Keeper Shelves and let her have this one instead.
It's so long since I've read it that I can't give a detailed review except to say that it comes with my highest recommendation!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
To Kharli on her birthday but only coincidentally - it's not a birthday present!
Journal Entry 5 by Nu-Knees at Knaresborough, North Yorkshire United Kingdom on Thursday, December 26, 2013
What did you do on Boxing Day? Well, my daughter who occasionally BookCrosses as Kharli spent the morning reorganising her bookshelves - and this evening she returned every book with BookCrossing stickers, including this one, for me to find new readers for them!
In line with my current policy that no BookCrossing book leaves my hands without showing its correct cover art somewhere, whether in the book details or a journal entry, I've scanned the front here, complete with BookCrossing stickers!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
To my non-BookCrossing friend (JR)
Over two million people around the world give their books a unique BookCrossing IDentity number (BCID) before sending them out to find new readers. Since the start of the scheme in April 2001 more than ten million such books have been put into circulation. This is one of them!
Our hope is that we can track the progress of our books once they've left our hands - and that's possible if finders like you visit the website, key in the BCID and leave a comment, however long or short. It's fun, it doesn't cost anything and you can remain anonymous if you wish. You don't have to join but if you do you'll be able to number and track your own books!
