If you haven't read this, you should. But, reading it once was enough for me.

The author is about my age, and his memoir helped me remember the unique circumstances of the 1970's and how rapidly societal change was occurring. It also helped me to newly appreciate the circumstances I grew up in. Burroughs' parents will make just about anyone else's look wonderful. Funny and disturbing.
