Got this at The Salvation Army thrift store in Santa Monica, CA, when I went in to buy books "just to release." I should have known better! This looks really good - it's a mystery involving the Vatican.

This was a good, entertaining book. It was similar to The DaVinci Code in that it was set in the Vatican and deals with the Vatican supressing secrets that could destroy the Catholic religion as it is now known. It was more of a novel than a thriller. It was a worthwhile read - not too difficult and good mind candy. I ready almost the whole thing while home sick one afternoon/evening.

This book was among the generous boxes-o-books that BCer tobysrus brought me on this very hot day, as part of her downsizing/decluttering efforts. This one's plot, about a Vatican conspiracy, doesn't tempt me, so I'll pass it along and hope it finds the right reader!
