Lady Johanna is in a domestically abusing marriage, when her mother thinks of a plan to help her escape her husband.Itrequired the blackmailing of a hiding rebel, who is protecting a rival political heir from the throne, to purjure themselves by claiming there was a previous marriage claim before that to Sir Fulk.

A slight pet peeve is that the title doesn't have much to do with the book. It sounds like it was just selected to sell books.
