It took me FOREVER to finish this book. At first I thought I was burned out. I've been booking through this series, trying to get ready for Ash's book in July. Normally I finish a Dark Hunter book in a day or two. But this one languished on my nightstand for a couple of weeks. I think part of it was due to the fact that I was SO involved with Zarek in the last book. I just couldn't find room in my heart for another DH. Finally around page 150 I clicked with this book & tore through at my normal speed. The dialog is a bit cheesy at times, but I really love this series. The heroes make me swoon. :)
