Coupland's work of faction based on the story of a teenage girl who became a modern day martyr for being killed in the Columbine high school shooting when she said she believed in God.

Another very accomplished Coupland novel. I really liked the way the book was written from four different points of view spanning thirty odd years. The characters, as you would expect from a Coupland novel, are well fleshed out and their actions, although far from normal, are not unbelievable. The basis of the story concerns the impact one extraordinary event can have on various people's lives, even if they were not directly effected by it at the time. It's well worth a read.
