All Fishermen Are Liars: True Adventures at Sea

I've had this book for awhile and just got around to reading it. Only after I'd read it did I realize that I hadn't yet registered it.
This is the third book I've read by Ms. Greenlaw and she is not one to disappoint. Her ability to spin a yarn is incredible. She has such a way with words; she makes you feel like you are there alongside her when she is braving howling winds on an ocean ready to devour you the moment you make a mistake.
Like her previous books, this is a collection of true stories (bearing in mind that "All Fishermen Are Liars") that were experienced by either Ms. Greenlaw or other fishermen she knows. She is witty, charming, funny, insightful and can swear with the best drunken sailor. The odd collection of characters in her stories are actual people whose names haven't been "changed to protect the innocent". If she likes someone, she'll tell you. If there is someone who deserves her scorn, she makes no bones about castigating them in print.
If you haven't read any of her works, begin at the beginning and read "The Hungry Ocean", follow it with "The Lobster Chronicles" and wash it down with "All Fishermen Are Liars". You won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed this one so much, I'm sending it along to my SIL.
