Hmm, I'm not real sure about this one. It was not bad in any way, shape or form - the characters were great, the book-club idea was great, the way Fowler tried to tie life in for them with Austen's novels was great. I just felt, by the end, that nothing had really happened or developed, it was all a tiny bit weak. I'd be interested to see the film now because I'd love to know if/how they changed the plot to make it move a bit more, I'm not sure how it would have worked as it is!
