2 journalers for this copy...
i bought this book for my friend, who read and loved it, said it was meaningful at that time, now gave it back to me for BookCrossing :)
well...not a bad read, but Paolo Coelho seems to have devised a formula (which works for him and most of his readers, after all he is a bestselling author) which for me is a guaranteed turn off, it becomes predictable no matter what the plot may be, how boring.
in this story the main character was self obsessed and even till the end had not learnt to listen and respect, so he rid himself of his Zahir, but has he accomplished anything really?
regardless, as with most books, they find me at a time i need them most, and it certainly has given me some food for thought.

Received from Makita21 :) I have read this and thought it was ok. I think I wanted it to be better considering it's from Coelho! Anyway, will reserve it for a RABCK.
