Excellent!
Diamant has a delicate touch with her stories---this one is based on a historical place in New England---and a 'spell binding' secret. I never put this down after starting.
This book will make you sad, will make you think & may give you hope.

Picked this up at this week's Vancouver bookcrossing!
This was a great pleasure to read. Not what I was expecting but her writing style and the unfolding of the story was enough to keep me going.

I really enjoyed this book. I was always anxious to get back to it. Thanks for the gift of a good read. I think it will be travelling to Vancouver Island with me this week to be set free over there.
