The book A Light in the Attic should not be banned from the library's because though it may have some nudity in some of its pictures and poems its still one of those book that make someone laugh when they need a good laugh. A Light in the Attic has opened new doors for me and has made it possible for me to let my imagination ru wild for a while. What I think Shel Silverstein is trying do is let children no that you have a good sense of hummor and a good imagination its just that you have to dig real deeep down and find it inside of you. Thats my reason of why the book should not be banned or sensored. The book should also not be challenged because its not a hard book to grasp the information that is being said its that some things just take some time to understand more than other things. And that why I think it should not be ban, challenged, or censored.

I loved this book called A light in the attic. I loved the poems almost everything rymed and i love ryming books. I have to say that my favorite poem was either I think that it was called Exactly waht or my other favorieve would have to be The twistable turnable man. I thought that that was really eally funny. I really love the books that Shel Silverstien wrote because I love the style of writing that she uses and i also like another book that she wrote called where the side walk ends./ I just really loved her books.

I loved this book called A light in the attic. I think that when i read this book I thought that there was really only one inapopriate picture in it and i think that it we had it in our library everyone would love it because i think that there is a peom in there that everyone can relate to or think that they know something about it. Also it shouldn't be nanned because there are multiple kinds of stories in there like for example there are funny, sad, happy, and mad creating feelings in thisbook so it depends on what kind of stories that you like and your oppinion of what you think is inapopiate and i could honestly probably only fing one or two that someone would dislike of think is bad.I think that someone would want to ban it because of some of the pictures like in one of the picutes it shows someones botom but still it is a great book and should not be banned. If they gave it a chance then they wouldn't see it as ohg look someones but oh ha ha he he it is the poems that i love not the pictures. It was only one or two bed pictures and they were not that bad either. But to me these are some of the best books i have ever read and they shouldn't banned it for a couple litle harmless pictures.I think if they gave the book a chance they would agree with me that this bookit\s the one of the best books that i have ever read and they would love it if they read the firstcouple of pagesor peoms.

Yours Truely,
Miss Clover

Shel Silverstein wrote the book A Light in the Attic with very good intensions, but someone just wantiing to band this book is completely out of the question this book is very appropriate but thats just my opinion. Theres just no reason for why this book should be banned fromthe school library's. To read this book you need to have an imagination to let this book actually grasp your attention. But to read this book you really do need to have a good sense of imagination and a good sense of hummor to let this book actually have an impact on you. The reason why I think someone may wnat to can or challenge this book is because it may have some nudity in some of the pictures but theres certainly no reason why this book should be challenged or ban from the libray's . Theres no age limit on a good laugh and thats why I think the is book should not be banned, challenged, or censored.

Sincerly,
Ms. Klutzilla
