Whilst searching for a suitable candidate to RABCK this to, I noticed that there was a bookring started by oisec that stalled in January. What better then than for my copy to pick up where the last one left off?
The running order as it was left is as follows:-
shimmy-crazy (UK)
travelernnn (UK)
chocdrop (UK)
laurarn (US)
CharmedKim (US)
toddington (US)
TheBowieFollies (US)
RockDg9 (Australia)
MooMoo1977 (Australia)<----Book is here
marko167 (Switzerland)
The original ring entries can be viewed here
I shall start PMing everyone to see if they still want to read the book and go from there. I have shimmy-crazy's address so i'll post it out very soon.
Unfortunately i've had no luck contacting oisec so I won't be able to put a link on the original book's journal entry to show that the ring is continued here.

Oops forgot to journal this one, it arrived last week. I've got a couple of other books in front of it but will get reading ASAP. Thanks LittleMoo for saving this ring.

Can't make up my mind whether I enjoyed this one or not. It was defiantly compelling and extremely disturbing. Some bits were quite hard to get through but with a comic edge too. Like one of the previous entries (from the original copy) I was left confused about whether the crimes were real or in bateman's extremely disturbed mind.
Sorry for taking so long to send this one on. I finished it and got Choc-drops address a few weeks ago and since then it's sat forgoten. Oops. I've sent it off now though.

Book arrived today - thanks, Shimmy-crazy.
This will be the next book that I read.

Sorry for holding on to this book for so long. Despite several attempts, I just could not get into the story, so I've given up on it. I think it was just a case of bad timing as I've recently changed jobs and I'm moving house in a couple of weeks, so I've had a lot on my mind.
I have posted it on to boogal this morning.

This arrived last week; sorry I didn't journal it sooner. I'll try to read it as soon as I can and then send it on its journey once again.
Just wanted to journal that I've changed my screenname from boogal to CharmedKim. I also didn't received a response from Toddington, but RockDg9 PM'd her address so I'll be sending the book on to her next.
I mailed this to RockDg9 the other day. With all the other books I need to read and college classes, I decided not to read this one...I also think I was a little scared to read it. Thanks for sharing the book, though!
Yay! Arrived here today ... I've wanted to read this ever since my university professor told us it was banned in this state. :oP
This was not really an enjoyable read, however, it was a very interesting book. I loved the contrast between the boring banality of Patrick's everyday existence, and the sheer horror of what he is capable of doing. My favourite chapter was the one on Whitney Houston - it was just hilarious.
Mailed to Moo on the 11 June.
Received on Friday from the one and only RockDg9. Yay! Thanks heaps for sending and many thanks to LittleMoo for sending this one out to replace the one by oisec.
Shall read ASAP and send back to yoo little Moo. :) xx

Ummm - yeah. This is definitely a bus-crash-you-want-to-turn-away-from-but-simply-can't-type of book. While thinking it was a great piece of advertising for a lot of designer fashion houses (haha), and there were some smirking/humorous moments - the sheer horror of what this Patrick dude was able to do (or was he?) made me wish I hadn't eaten so many cupcakes before reading. :(
Again - like so many other readers before - I am not sure whether I liked this book or didn't like it. I started flipping through it after getting through the majority of the book, as I was finding the gruesome details a bit too much for my tummy to handle (we moos can only take so much).
Many thanks to LittleMoo for sending it on and reviving the ring. I shall PM them for their addy and send it sometime this week.
