A book that I started a while back and put down after a while. I'll take another stab at it in a bit.
Mailed yesterday to gothamgal who chose it in a relay at bookobsessed.com
Received in the mail today, thank you very much, Rootmartin. I can't wait to read it.
Got from gothamgal in the RMTBRBB swap. Yay! I've never even read a Jane Austen book, but for some reason I want to read this one. Does make me crazy? Wait. Don't answer that.

Synopsis
In California’s central valley, five women and one man join to discuss Jane Austen’s novels. Over the six months they get together, marriages are tested, affairs begin, unsuitable arrangements become suitable, and love happens. With her eye for the frailties of human behaviour and her ear for the absurdities of social intercourse, Karen Joy Fowler has never been wittier nor her characters more appealing. The result is a delicious dissection of modern relationships.

I had read several good reviews about this book. Unfortunately it did not live up to the reviews. Not that it was terrible, but it did not live up to the hype.
