Absolutely fantastic book giving a thrilling insight into the geisha world in Japan.

This book follows the life of Suri who is sold to a geisha house when she is young and follows her struggles to become a geisha whilst battling against the evil Hatsumomo who is determined to ruin her. It charts her failures and successes and her attempts to win the patronage of the man she loves.
