Genre: Shelved in Romance but it is definitely an action type romance

Main Character: J.D. Steele
Specialty: One shot, one kill.
Code name: the angel of death

His story: His CO gave him faulty intel and sent him out n an unapproved mission. On this mission, he killed his target but was shot twice. His spotter and boyhood friend did not make it out. When he found out that the CO had lied and then the CO threatened him to get him to keep his mouth shut, he shot the CO’s helmet off as a warning and was sent to Leavenworth.

The Bureau of American Defense (BAD) desperately needs a good sniper without family attachments since their only one had broken his leg in an extreme skiing accident. If you were already trained to kill, would you take them up on their offer of a nice salary with all records wiped clean? Steele isn’t sure.

Interesting Chatracter: Gator Jack is an ex-sniper whose claim to fame is that the army once dropped him into a pond of gators by mistake. They thought he was torn to bits but they sent in a reconnaissance team and they found him not only alive, but unhurt and surrounded by ten gators, neatly shot in the heads.

Now, he is out from under Uncle Sam’s thumb and living the paranoid life of someone who knows the world is being watched by Big Brother so he hides out in a high-tech underground apartment build into the old mining tunnels.

“You aren’t expecting are you?”

“No!”

“Well good, ‘cause there’s enough radon down there to give a fetus three heads. I don’t want to be responsible for none of that. I only believe in corrupting the ones who come out of the womb and grow to at least 5 feet in height.”
