Requiem for the Sun (The Symphony of Ages)

Requiem of the Sun continues where Destiny: Child of Sky left off. Rhapsody and Ashe are the Lord and Lady Cymrian and are thinking about starting a family. (I admit this confused me a little bit due to the last chapter in the previous book.)
Michael has returned, kept alive all these centuries by an unholy alliance with a F'dor. One of the things that makes these demons so terrifying is their apparent ability to force their way into an host weaker or the same strength as themselves. The only thing even scarier is the type of host that would invite them in.
The development here should have been really interesting, especially with Rhapsody's pregnancy. Instead I found it occasionally feeling sort of 2 dimensional, which was sad the beginning of this series is so amazing.
