Lost in a Good Book

Enjoyed The Eyre Affair so much I was dying to read the rest of the series... and that same day they were on 3 for tenner... hoorray!
Highly enjoyable and I love the way it all folds out nicely, although this one DEFINITELY begs the sequel.
In this installment Thursday joins Jurisfiction - LiteraTec WITHIN the fiction community, as well as saving the world from Armageddon, dodging Goliath and evil maniacs and trying to get back to a normal life with Landen.
It's just as clever as the Eyre Affair, but I didn't find it quite as funny. Still I'm eagerly awaiting the Well of Lost Plots ring to find out what happens (N)ext!
Amazon synopsis: Fresh off the events of "The Eyre Affair", Thursday Next (a police officer specializing in literature related crimes, such as first-edition forgeries, valuable manuscript thefts, and the like) is gritting her teeth through a new round of fame as the woman who saved Jane Eyre (and changed the ending for the better), when all she wants to do is cuddle up at home with her new husband Landen. Unfortunately, the evil Goliath Corporation has managed to use a corrupt member of the Chronogaurd (timestream police) to delete Landen from this timeline and are holding his existence hostage. In the first book Thursday imprisoned one of their top men inside Poe's "The Raven", and it seems they want him back.

Hmm... was I bringing this to Dublin for people who have read the Eyre Affair, or was I hanging on to it until I read EA?
Have now read the Eyre Affair, so nothing except the size of Mount TBR stopping me from reading this.
I didn't find the Eyre Affair as funny as I'd been led to believe, but had a better idea what to expect in this one, so wasn't let down.
Thinking of offering this to a specific bookcrosser...

Picked up at the January 2011 BCie monthly meetup. @nut both recommended this and forced it upon me, so I feel duty-bound to read it now.
